The Jerry ($JYAI) community has announced that ShibaXanders, widely known across the crypto space simply as Xanders, has joined the project as a Strategic Advisor, bringing with him years of experience from one of the most recognised meme ecosystems in the industry.
Xanders is a prominent member of the Shiba Inu ($SHIB) community, where he has been active since April 2021 and is widely regarded as a SHIB OG. During his time in the ecosystem, he has served as an administrator for the official Shiba Inu Telegram group, helping to coordinate community discussions and communicate development updates to the wider ShibArmy.
Originally from Venezuela and now based in Medellín, Colombia, Xanders has built a reputation for grassroots community engagement and real-world adoption initiatives. Within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, he has played an active role in promoting merchant adoption and usability, particularly across Latin America, where cryptocurrency has become an important tool for navigating economic instability.
His work has included outreach to businesses to encourage acceptance of $SHIB as payment, as well as helping to promote partnerships that expand the token’s real-world utility. Xanders has also represented the community at international Web3 events and contributed to discussions around expanding the broader Shiba Inu ecosystem.
His move to join Jerry comes as the project continues to expand its own ecosystem and community-driven infrastructure. Over the past year, the Jerry community has launched several initiatives designed to strengthen engagement and communication, including the Jerry Community Podcast, now available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, as well as a dedicated crypto news platform focused on the project and the wider meme sector.
The token is also currently available across more than 40 exchanges, an unusually broad level of accessibility for a project operating around the $1 million market cap level.
Commenting on his decision to join the project, Xanders said the opportunity stood out immediately.
