The community behind Jerry the Turtle (JYAI) today announced the first installation in its Los Angeles outdoor campaign. The inaugural billboard will go up soon at:

21614 Ventura Blvd
Woodland Hills, CA 91364
United States

All billboards in the campaign will feature the same creative design for consistent brand recognition across the city.

A second placement is confirmed for the Calabasas/Hidden Hills corridor—an area known for its concentration of entertainment industry figures—with the exact structure and timing to be announced. For reference, the team cited proximity to:

Near 23485 Long Valley Rd
Woodland Hills/Calabasas CA 91364
United States

“Putting Jerry on the street is about permanence and presence,” said Alexander, community member and top-three JYAI holder spearheading the initiative. “A billboard turns a meme you scroll past into a character you drive past. It’s a signal that the project is here to stay.”

“This is a community-funded push, built the same way Jerry grew online: together,” added Duchess, community moderator. “We’re excited to give holders and newcomers a real-world moment they can photograph, share, and rally around.”

Campaign Details

  • Creative: A single, unified design will run on all boards in this phase to compound recognition and social sharing.
  • Content & Coverage: The installation will be filmed with on-site and aerial footage. Edited photos and b-roll will be distributed to media and posted on the project’s channels following the install.

Phase One Locations

  • Woodland Hills (Ventura Blvd) — installation imminent.
  • Calabasas Area — structure & dates TBA; in the vicinity of Long Valley Rd and surrounding arterials.

Call for Community Participation

Local holders and creators are invited to (safely) capture photos and short video clips once the boards are live and share them on social with #JYAI and #JerryInLA. Please obey traffic laws and do not trespass on private property when filming or photographing.

Los Angeles blends commuter reach with global cultural influence. By placing Jerry in high-visibility corridors, the campaign aims to bridge online momentum with real-world touchpoints that travel organically across social platforms and entertainment media.
