Jerry News, the volunteer-run site documenting the Jerry the Turtle (JYAI) project, has confirmed it will rely on community donations to keep the platform live, neutral and clutter‑free.

Launched to give holders and newcomers a single, trustworthy place to track announcements, roadmap shifts, creative drops and ecosystem activity, the site rejects both paywalls and pay‑to‑post sponsorships. “If funding comes from one big backer, editorial independence goes out the window,” a volunteer editor said. “Crowd support lets us publish on relevance and proof, not on marketing budgets.”
